The European Youth Parliament España (EYPE) is the organisation that represents Spain within the whole of the European Youth Parliament. The EYPE is integrated by 83 students that participate in the different sessions organised throughout the year by members of the EYP.

​The EYPE organises sessions all over Spain with the aim of selecting representatives for international sessions. These international sessions are held three times a year in different European cities, and bring together between 250 and 300 students and teachers. With this goal in mind, the first six state sessions have been organised, Girona being the city that hosted the first one during the winter of 2007.

In recent years, EYPE has held regional sessions in which students are chosen for the annual state selection. Since the implementation of the regional selection system the city of Girona has hosted a session every single year.
